Launch of the Impact Investing in Ghana Report

The EU funded Investment Promotion, Business Linkages & Export Development Project to collaborate with Impact Investing Ghana (IIGh) at the launch of the Impact Investing in Ghana Report on 23 March 2022.

The Report provides a foundation for well-founded recommendations for change.  It presents findings from a substantive research effort to provide a clearer understanding of Ghana’s impact investment and entrepreneurship ecosystem.  It also highlights the nature and extent of interrelated structural gaps and systemic deficiencies that currently impede the efficient functioning of the market.

Speaking at the event, Sean Duggan, Investment Promotion Expert with the EU funded Investment Promotion and Business Linkages Project highlighted how impressive it is that Ghana is beginning to articulate the gaps and failures in the investment space.  He expressed that this is fundamentally important to be able to get the market to work the way Ghanaians want it to work.  “This research is critical to understanding how the investment market could work effectively and efficiently and deliver the kind of outcomes that the country wants and needs.”

The launch was broadcast live on CityFM and livestreamed on Facebook by IIGh.
